I am here to tell you all.. that The Lord is aware of all of us.

The only peace we will ever find in this life is from our Savior Jesus Christ and through his Gospel. I am realizing more and more each day how much I am indebted to my Savior. For all that he has done for me and for all my brothers and sisters.. My family here in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Utah, Africa... EVERYWHERE.. EVERYONE.. He loves us all and for that knowledge I am so grateful!

This week has been so good.. I have had a lot of humbling experiences that have helped me grow closer and closer to my Savior.

I was able to be at a baptism this week of a little girl in our ward... She was Glowing after she came out of the water. Truly filled with the Love of God. I read a talk this morning that had a quote in it .. it said something like... The best thing we can do for our Heavenly Father is to Love his children. How true is that.. We are here on this earth to love and help each other grow and progress! I am so grateful for this great opportunity we are all given to serve! We have opportunities all around us I hope that we are all striving to never let them pass us by.. Heavenly Father is aware of all the Love, Kindness, and Charity we do for others..

We have been meeting a lot of really great people lately.. I know that some of them are ready for the good news of the gospel.. and some are just getting prepared.. :) I am grateful everyday for the miracles that I am able to witness everyday.. I wish I knew how to share more than this in my emails... there is just so much to say and so much to feel.. I can't capture it so well in words.. I will try to so I will just share one miracle..

So on Sunday we were walking to a Ladies home who we had set up an appointment to meet.. She happened to not be home.. but we were able to talk to many people on the way to her house.. One of them was a boy named Zack.. We stopped and talked to him for a bit.. his friend walked away but he listened and paid close attention. He asked us if we gave lessons.. (of course I was screaming and jumping inside) We told him yes.. He was in a hurry to be on his way.. We shared our Testimonies of our Savior and then he was on his way... I'm not sure if I will ever see him again.. but as we were walking away.. he said something like .. "You have changed my life." In that moment I knew that he had felt the spirit. He was touched by the Savior's Love. It was a true Miracle..

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is for Everyone. This I do know.

Cool story of the week:

So Sister Reynolds and I.. were on our way to a member of our wards home.. So we put the address in the GPS.. we are driving along.. we get out on the street and immediately a boy starts talking to us. He asked us.. "Which church do you go to?" We told him which church and wrote down the address, we also asked him if he had ever heard of the Book of Mormon. He said "actually I have like 3 copies at my house." So we invited him to come to church and continue to read the Book of Mormon. He didn't come to church .. but I really feel like we were where we were supposed to be at that time. Then we continued to walk down the street to where the address was. We met these two men.. talking on the streets of Norristown... They didn't seem too interested in what we had to say but they took Book of Mormon cards.. But then they stopped us and asked us where we were from.. and what we were doing. So we told them.. and told them about the BOM and the church.. the whole bit. One man said to us.. "You aren't going to change anybody here!" .... I was thinking to myself.. "You don't know anything .. just watch I'll change people here".... Then.. the spirit put me in my place! .. the next words that came out of my mouth were.. "You're exactly right.. I won't change anyone here.. but the SPIRIT will." The other man talking to us... was like.. "You are right.. I will remember how I felt talking to you.. There is something different something special... (and then he gave us the fist pound!)" It was rad... and then the best ending to this story is... We were on the wrong street. The member we were trying to find had moved.. So for reals I know I was where the Lord wanted me to be at that time. :) But don't worry we did find our appointment and had a wonderful lesson!

This story is just one of the many beauties we get to experience here in mission life. I love getting to meet all sorts of wonderful people and having these experiences that strengthen my Faith in my Savior and Heavenly Father. I know that they are there for me and that they love me... and also that they love All their Children! All of you! I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It is amazing.

Hello EVERYONE...

I am here to tell you.. that life is about CHANGE..

I feel like I am on a change roller coaster. Well.. I am, and we all are! Through our change we can become better, we can give up things that hold us back. I am realizing this every day, when I choose to BECOME better. It isn't always easy.. I don't think it was meant to be either. Satan wants us all to be stuck in our ways and comfortable doing the things we have always done, he wants us to be scared of the unknown. One thing that I have learned and continue to learn is that I can go through changes and survive!! Through Faith in Jesus Christ and trusting in Him I can make it.. Therefore.. I know all of you can make it too! :) I feel so blessed to have the basic knowledge of the plan that Heavenly Father has for us. I am grateful for my Savior that provide the piece to the puzzle to complete the grand design. I love my Savior. I love this Gospel.

This week I have met people from... Egypt, India, Lebanon, Scotland, Haiti and Nigeria. It has been so great! I am really enjoying being in Valley Forge area. It has been an adjustment.. Of course every time anyone moves it is an adjustment! There you go.. Change again! I have also gotten probably close to 15 bug bites.. No Big Deal. Other then they itch. HA! There are many great people in this area.. Of course there are great people everywhere. (If you don't see great people where you are.. pray to see them.. God will help you out!) We have been teaching some really great people here.. Matt, Elmo, Shirley, and a few others.. I will update you about these wonderful children of God.. soon! So stay tuned..

Thank you Lawrence.. for putting it so nicely. We need our Savior.. He is the way and the light and the truth. The example. Follow Him... and all the change will be opportunities to become the best you EVER. The Masterpiece that you are.

Missions.. are crazy..

Everyday is filled with so much of EVERYTHING.. The Highlight of last week was... ANOTHER BAPTISM...

Here is the story:

So the other day.. Sister Small and I were driving.. somewhere..(can't remember where) and the phone rang.. Since I am the passenger, I get the privilege of answering the phone. The name Jake popped up. I asked Sister Small who is Jake? She said just answer it.. so I did. So the phone call proceeded Jake said.."I am going to boot camp soon.. I would really like to be baptized before I go." Wow.. was all I could think. So Sister Small and I had a very busy week making preparations for his baptism and teaching him all the things he needed to know before baptism. What a blessing it was to be there at the Baptism on Sunday. It all came together and went wonderfully. The spirit there was very strong. I am very grateful for the experience. His Mother and Sister were able to come to Church and also attended the baptism along with his Father. It was a neat to see them all there all together right before Jake heads to Boot Camp. (He is there now.. and we are having dinner with his Mom and Sister tonight!) We are very excited!)

This week I have been recognizing how the Lord intervenes in our lives just when we need him too! For Jake it was right before he left. This week I have had so many experiences where the Lord's Miracles were all around. I wish you all could just be here and see. (I also wish I was a better writer.. so you could at least try to picture it! :)

Just Remember.. The Lord is the framer of Heaven and Earth.. he is over all things.

It has been a blessed week...

One of my favorite things that people say out here is ..."Have a blessed day!" It is a blessed day when you can truly see the miracles that are put into our lives by our loving Heavenly Father.

Sunday July 25, we had a baptism!! We had the baptism for Michael. He is a truly fantastic human. The few weeks that I was able to be apart of teaching him were very special. He had such a sincere desire to know if the Book of Mormon was true and if Joseph Smith truly was a Prophet called by God. The afternoon went beautifully. I felt an overwhelming love for my Savior that day. I am so grateful for the sacrifice that he made for me. For all his children. The longer I am here I realize there is so much more to learn.

One thing I am really learning is the importance of striving to live a Christ-like life. He was our ultimate example and the best source of truth and light we have to look to. What a blessing. I love my Savior Jesus Christ.

We are teaching a few other really fantastic people! O how I love to see the light enter into peoples lives once they start to studying the Book of Mormon. There is a very very special power that comes once you begin a study of that book. It is a blessing to have it in our lives to carry us through the hard times and the good.

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It is amazing the time that passes...

One year ago today.. I was in Zambia Africa. I have been remembering the wonderful people that helped me get there and also the wonderful people that I met there. Some of the most wonderful, happy, kind, selfless people I have ever met. What a life changing experience it was! I feel so blessed that the experience was mine. (Just as I feel blessed that this experience of a mission is mine) I have been thinking about the love that we have for people. About the great experience it is to be able to meet people and build relationships with them. I was thinking also alot about why I ultimately decided to serve a mission.. It all comes down to PEOPLE.. Individuals that all are unique and wonderful in there own special way. I have been trying to remind myself each day that I am here for them.

Africa taught me that I am capable of loving so much more then I thought was possible.. Although I have been taught through out my life that we are all created in God's Image.. and that God is all-loving. Which means that if we are created like him we are capable of loving everyone.. and commanded to do so. What a blessing and challenge that is.

I have felt many times complete love for strangers that I have met on the streets.. I also have felt a deep desire for them to be able to feel, hear, and understand the wonderful new of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love this Church.. The great teachings... Christ's teachings.

The exciting news this week is that there will be a baptism! The Sisters that have served in this area the past few months have been teaching a great guy named Michael the gospel. He was introduced by a very close friend. As I have been blessed to be a part of the experience for just a few short weeks I can see the sincerity of heart and the desire that he has to follow Christ's example and enter into the waters of Baptism. I feel blessed.. I say that often.. and sometimes I just really think that missions are about witnessing Miracles.. Truly that is what a mission is. I see miracles everyday.. big and small. BUT only if I am really looking.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. How grateful I am for my Savior Jesus Christ, who broke the bands of death and satisfied the demands of justice. I am grateful for His beautiful example of love and charity. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon, I know that is it truly the word of God, all those who read it will be able to feel it's power if done with a sincere heart! I have seen it's power to change lives, including my own. I am so grateful for that!

This week has been very interesting..

All sorts of differences and extremes.. To start things off I just have to say that.. I really love when it is 103 degrees outside and 98 percent humidity... and also when it is that hot in the morning and then pouring rain in the afternoon... :) I also really really enjoying backing out my companion when it is pouring rain.. and when I get to cross over a river to do it!

Needless to say.. there has been some very crazy weather! :) I am holding up ok. I'm not sick of it yet.. thank goodness because there are a few summer months left! The people here say that it is one of the hottest summers yet. I'm sure I just wanted to bring some STG heat with me... to see if it was a good idea... Well.. just so you all know.. not a good idea with the Pennsylvania humidity.

We have had some very amazing moments this last week. We are teaching some pretty amazing people. I feel very blessed to be here in Doylestown at this time. I know the Lord puts us in places at specific times for a reason. Although experiences in our lives are sometimes not fun, and sad, and hard. We have them for a reason.. to help us become stronger and more faithful, and more like our Savior.. It is times when everything is not going the way we would like that we need to really turn to our Savior.. He is our true source of comfort. At this time .. and so many others on my mission I am learning that I can only make it in this life through my Savior. I am trying with all my heart to trust in Him.. that he does know what is best for me.. and more so many other people. it is a hard thing to do.. but it is the way to true happiness and eternal joy.

Here's to my Grandfather..

My Grandpa Pallas is in the hospital now. I'm not sure what the outcome will be.. But i want to write a few things that I love about my grandpa. He was one of my best friends as a child.. Along with his wonderful wife, my Grandma Pallas.. I loved spending my afternoons at there home.. wearing grandmas jewelry and making fish with grandpa in the garage. I remember one time when he asked me.. Now, what are you going to tell people when they ask you what kind of fish this is.. I remember thinking so hard about what kinds of fish there are.. the only one I could think of was a trout... and he said.. "No, a wooden one" Always full of funny jokes.. and always willing to help or teach me improve my wood working skills, or on casting a fishing line.. I remember practicing and practicing in his driveway.. He is one of the most caring people I have met. Always wanting to give and do for others. I remember countless times walking into the garage to visit him busy at work and finding someone from the neighborhood either learning from is great knowledge or having there hands full of treasures. He is a true friend. I love you Grandpa!

I don't know what is to come in the future.. but I do know that it is bright. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings light to every darkness that we come across in our lives.
